Getting Answers from God

John Holland is a psychic medium, he has written an article on how to get answers from your higher mind or higher self. He talks about the benefits of reconnecting back to our higher mind and a simple meditation that helps reopen this channel once again.
Accessing Your Higher Mind
"The more we stay connected to our higher mind - which we also call the universe, the source, or spirit - the more we strengthen and build that crucial bridge between ourselves and our higher consciousness. While we're all born connected to this divine awareness, we have a tendency to pull away from what was once natural." ofspirit

Catholic's Attack New Age

Why do some of today's major religions attack each other and anybody else who isn't following their faith? Simple,"FEAR", fear creates separation and where there's separation love cannot exist. Why cant we all just live and let live. The Christian faith is wondering why so many people are turning away from them or following other faiths and beliefs, the answer, people are more informed and aware. If religions concentrated on themselves a bit more and stopped worrying and condemning everybody else this world would have allot more peace and love.
The Church and the New Age Movement
"At the end of the millennium, the year 2000, a yearning for an age of freedom from the evils afflicting the world, the spirit of millenarianism has returned as it has so many times before. It is not a sect, a religion, a single organization, a science or a philosophy. In some ways it is not even new. It is called a movement in order to indicate that it is a network of individuals and groups who share a world-view and a common desire to change the world.1"

State of Being

Here's a little simple article about being conscious of how we can effect other people around us just from how we feel inside. We are all connected, we all come from the same source, so its only natural that if people come into our space that are angry, depressed or sad we feel their energy and if we allow it we can get effected by it. So this is why it is so important that we heal ourselves on all levels and find peace, harmony and love within. By bringing in loving and positive qualities we then project these energies to the world. This then becomes like the 100th monkey syndrome, people around us will naturally feel at peace, safe and free to be their true selves and that is love.
Greatest gift to others is being the best we can be
"Perhaps philosopher Ram Dass said it best when he pointed out, "The only thing you have to offer another human being, ever, is your own state of being." Over the years, I've found this to be true, over and over again." twincities

Loving Mother Earth

When will the human race realize that this planet we live on is a living being? She feels everything we do to her. I believe she is the reflection of our human consciousness and at the moment its not to healthy. When we start loving and respecting ourselves, then we start loving and respecting our fellow human beings, all other beings on Earth and Earth herself. We cannot keep abusing her the way we are.
Living With Gaia
"If we accept that humans have a finite individual lifespan, and no one can ever be immortal, then maybe we should keep in mind that our species also has a limit for its span on Earth.
Instead, in our optimism we imagine that if we could manage ourselves and the Earth well enough we could, somehow, find ways to cope with a doubling lifespan, or a doubling of population

Living Simple

Living our life in a more simplistic way certainly helps keep the stress levels down. When our stress levels are down we function better in all aspects of our life. Living simple doesn't necessarily mean giving up our worldly possessions or having no money, it can mean having all that makes you happy (money included), but having a more balanced outlook to everything that is in your life.
How To Live A Simple Life
"Once you know how to live a simple life, you may decide you don't want to. Some people really want the complexity and constant drama of their lives. It is something we have to look at honestly. On the other hand, some of us really want more simplicity, and some would want it if they knew what it felt like to live more simply and at peace." 999ideas

The Stress of Saying Yes

How many times throughout the day are you asked to do something you don't really want to do, or don't have the time to do it ? And we still say "YES". For most people saying "NO" can be one of the hardest words to say. Why then for a lot of people is saying "NO" so hard? Most of society say "YES" because of a number reasons, we don't want hurt the other persons feelings, people will approve of us if we do what they want etc. etc. Oprah Winfrey calls it "The Disease to Please," syndrome. Check out this little article over at The Seattle Times.
People who can't say no risk stress, anger and even illness
"It might be the easiest word to say, and the most overused in our culture.
Help out with the school's bake sale? Yes. Work an extra shift at the hospital? Yes. Bring a main dish to the neighborhood dinner party after your 60-hour workweek? Yes

Tantra and Spiritual Growth

What is Tantra exactly? Is it more than sexual pleasure? I found and article that explains some of the myths that are associated with Tantra. Here they explain practicing Tantric cosmology
is all about spiritual growth on the inner and how pleasure and desire when coming from the right space can open us up to the Divine.
Pleasure and Desire:
"Contrary to popular notions that it is the Yoga of Sex or some form of couples therapy, Tantra is primarily concerned with inner, mystical experiences. In Tantra, all mundane activities are opportunities to experience the divine, especially when they are approached with consciousness and intention." chronogram
