The Stress of Saying Yes

How many times throughout the day are you asked to do something you don't really want to do, or don't have the time to do it ? And we still say "YES". For most people saying "NO" can be one of the hardest words to say. Why then for a lot of people is saying "NO" so hard? Most of society say "YES" because of a number reasons, we don't want hurt the other persons feelings, people will approve of us if we do what they want etc. etc. Oprah Winfrey calls it "The Disease to Please," syndrome.
